Ish Matzliach Organization Weekly Sweepstakes · Last updated August 18, 2026
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A donation will not improve an entrant's chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
This Sweepstakes is sponsored by the Ish Matzliach Organization("Sponsor"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 93-3378723), 1694 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230. The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Stripe, any social-media platform, or any payment provider.
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, AND A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE AN ENTRANT'S CHANCES OF WINNING. A free method of entry is available to every eligible person as described in Section 5(b) (Free Alternate Method of Entry) below. Each entry — however obtained — has an identical chance of being selected in a drawing, and entrants who donate receive no advantage over entrants who enter for free.
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, trustees, contractors, and volunteers of the Sponsor, together with the members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children, and each of their respective spouses) and persons living in the same households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
The first drawing period opens upon launch and closes when the first drawing is held on or about Tuesday, August 25, 2026, following the Rav's shiur. After the first drawing, the Sweepstakes runs in consecutive weekly drawing periods, each opening immediately after the prior drawing and closing when the next weekly drawing is held (on or about each Tuesday). Entries received after a period closes are entered into the following drawing. The Sponsor may modify the schedule or end the Sweepstakes at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
To be included in a given drawing, an entry — whether obtained by donation, by the free mail-in method of entry, or by referral — must be recorded in the Sponsor's system before 10:00 PM Eastern Timeon the Tuesday of that drawing. Entries recorded after the cutoff automatically roll into the following week's drawing; no entry is forfeited. Mail-in entries count toward the first drawing held after the entry card is received and processed by the Sponsor.
(a) Donation entry. Make a donation to the Sponsor through this website and receive the corresponding number of entries: [$52 = 1 entry; $200 = 5 entries; $360 = 10 entries] for recurring weekly donations, or [$65 = 1 entry; $252 = 5 entries; $450 = 10 entries] for one-time donations. For recurring donations, the next payment is charged on the night of the first drawing (August 25, 2026) for entry into the second drawing, and weekly thereafter; while active, a recurring donation is automatically entered into each weekly drawing until cancelled.
To enter without a donation, hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, email address, telephone number, and date of birth on a 3" × 5" card and mail it in a stamped envelope to:
Ish Matzliach Organization — Weekly Sweepstakes (AMOE)
1694 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230
Each mailed card received counts as one (1) entry into the next drawing held after the card is received and processed. Mail-in entries must be postmarked and received before that drawing closes. No mechanically reproduced entries. Entrants are limited to the same entry caps as donation entries per drawing. Free entries have the same odds of winning as donation entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail.
Entrants may share a unique personal referral link. For every three (3) paid entries purchased by other eligible entrants through an entrant's referral link, that entrant receives one (1) free entry into the next drawing, with no donation required. Referral free entries have the same odds of winning as all other entries.
Entries obtained by the free mail-in method of entry, entries earned through the referral program, and any bonus or courtesy entries granted by the Sponsor are treated identically to donation entries in every drawing and carry exactly the same odds of winning. Free and bonus entries have no cash or redemption value, may not be sold, transferred, or assigned, and may be revoked by the Sponsor if obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or a violation of these Official Rules.
There is no maximum number of entries an eligible entrant may obtain across the Sweepstakes. Entries are non-transferable.
One (1) prize of $1,500 USD is awarded each drawing. The Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, increase the prize for any given drawing. The prize is awarded as [cash / check / electronic transfer].
Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on any prize. The Sponsor may require a winner to submit a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is paid and may issue an IRS Form 1099 where required by law. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution is permitted except by the Sponsor.
Odds of winning a drawing depend on the total number of eligible entries received for that drawing. Each individual entry — whether obtained by donation or by the free method of entry — has an equal chance of being selected.
One winning entry is selected for each drawing at random from all eligible entries, with each eligible entry represented exactly once in the selection pool so that every entry has an identical probability of being drawn. Drawings are conducted publicly at the live event using a randomized selection wheel (with one segment per eligible entry, identified by first name, last initial, and ticket number) or an equivalent uniform random method. The first drawing is held on or about Tuesday, August 25, 2026, following the Rav's shiur, with subsequent drawings held weekly (on or about each Tuesday). The potential winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within forty-eight (48) hours and may be required to verify eligibility and sign an affidavit/release where lawful. A potential winner who cannot be reached, or who does not respond within five (5) calendar days of the first notification attempt, may be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and the Sponsor may select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries. A potential winner who is found ineligible or who declines the prize may likewise be replaced by an alternate. Winners may be announced publicly on this website.
For the name of the winner of any drawing, send a self-addressed stamped envelope, marked "Sweepstakes Winners List", to: Ish Matzliach Organization, 1694 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days of the drawing to which they relate. Winners are also announced publicly on this website at /winners.
Recurring weekly donations continue until cancelled and, while active, enter you into each weekly drawing. You may cancel at any time, on your own, using your personal manage link — the link is shown at checkout and is also available via the "Manage Entries" link in the Site footer (/manage). No login, account, or email is required to cancel. Cancellation stops all future charges and future automatic entries; entries already issued for the upcoming drawing remain valid and are included in that drawing. Donations already made are non-refundable except as required by law. If you need assistance cancelling, contact sweepstakes@ishmatzliach.co.
Entrants who provide a telephone number agree — per the Terms & Conditions accepted at checkout — to receive transactional text messages only from the Sponsor, relating to their entries, donations, and drawings (including receipts, drawing reminders, and winner notification). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. The Sponsor does not send marketing or promotional text messages without separate consent. Providing a telephone number is not a condition of entry or of making any donation.
Entries submitted using multiple or false identities, obtained through automated, scripted, or mechanically reproduced means, or associated with any tampering with the entry process are void. Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback voids the entries associated with that payment and may, at the Sponsor's discretion, disqualify the entrant from future drawings. The Sponsor reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies against any person who attempts to defraud, tamper with, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, lost entries, or errors of any kind. If the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned, the Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify it consistent with applicable law.
By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and its officers, directors, trustees, employees, contractors, and volunteers from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes, the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, or any technical failure — including website, network, payment-processing, or email/SMS delivery errors. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor's total aggregate liability to any participant shall not exceed the amount that participant contributed to the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's permission for the Sponsor to announce the winner's first name, last initial, and city/state on the Site (including the /winners page) and at the live drawing, for announcement and promotional purposes, without additional compensation.
Information collected from entrants is used to administer the Sweepstakes, process donations, contact winners, and send updates you opt into. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored by the Sponsor. We do not sell entrant information. For questions or to request deletion of your information, contact sweepstakes@ishmatzliach.co.
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Rules shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kings County (Brooklyn), New York, and each entrant consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent permitted by law, all disputes shall be brought in the entrant's individual capacity only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
